    A celebrant leads your ceremony on the lawn, by the water. No fixed script, no queue of other weddings, no rules about where you stand.

  3. The rest of the day, everywhere

    Drinks by the mill pond. Photographs on the bridges. Dinner and dancing under canvas on the lawns. The gardens do the decorating.

The lawns

Flat ground, made for a marquee.

The lawns are open and level, with vehicle access for suppliers and space alongside for catering. From an intimate dinner to a full wedding party — tell us your numbers and layout, and we’ll confirm what fits.

Private events run the same way: long lunches, launches, wrap parties, family days. The gardens, exclusively yours.

Yes. The lawns are flat, open and marquee-friendly, with vehicle access for suppliers and space alongside for catering.

Is the venue exclusively ours for the day?

Yes. Netley Mill House is a private estate — when you book it, the gardens are yours alone.

What happens if it rains?

This is England; we plan for it. A marquee covers dining and dancing, and there is indoor space to fall back on. The gardens, for what it's worth, are at their most atmospheric in soft weather.
